Jump starting local businesses
Hawkesbury City Council and Place Score are working together on a pilot jumpstart program in South Windsor and Windsor Mall. Council has allocated $25,000 to help businesses implement their actions.
The pilot Jumpstart Program has been created in the wake of COVID-19 and the bushfires. Windsor Mall and South Windsor are among only a small number of towns in NSW and Victoria where the program is being rolled out.
Thanks to this pilot program, Place Score will be working closely with businesses from Windsor Mall over the next six weeks to develop action plans to help them address challenges faced by business owners. The program also expected to commence soon with businesses in South Windsor.
There are 11 businesses on the Jumpstart Team that are attending online sessions and providing information about local trading conditions.
