Chess Club for Adults
Hawkesbury Central Library is running a social chess club for adults every Friday from 2pm to 5pm until 29 May.
Whether you're a novice or a champion chess player, drop in to Hawkesbury Central Library and join us for a friendly game of chess. There are many surprising benefits to playing chess including:
- exercising both sides of the brain
- it's fun and a great way to be social
- boosts dendrite growth in the brain
- increases problem solving skills.
No bookings are required, just turn up at the library and have a game of chess. The library will provide chess sets so players can compete simultaneously, and a volunteer will be available for any tips for amateurs.
The chess club is free and will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. Please contact the library on 4560 4460, if you require further information.
