Tenders are invited for the stage 2 reconstruction of sealed road sections of Tennyson Road and East Kurrajong Road. Tenders will be received up to 3.00pm on Thursday 23 July 2009.
Tender documents can be downloaded free at http://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc or available at the Council Administration Office enquiry counter at 366 George Street, Windsor, during business hours and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $75.
Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Tenders will be opened in public, in the Council offices immediately following the time of closure, and tenderers or their representatives are invited to attend. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders must comply with the Local Government Tendering Regulation, 1999, and the NSW Government Code of Practice and Code of Tendering for the construction industry.
Please note that the canvassing of Councillors in relation to this matter will automatically disqualify the applicant from this process.

Hawkesbury Oasis Pool Closure
Hawkesbury Oasis Pool Closure Please note that all of the indoor pools, spa, steam room and sauna at the Hawkesbury Oasis Leisure Centre in South Windsor will be temporarily closed for two weeks from Monday, 13 July until Sunday, 26 July 2009.
The pools at Hawkesbury Oasis Aquatic Centre require essential maintenance in order to address potential safety issues and ensure the longevity of the facility.
All other facilities at the Aquatic Centre including the health and fitness club, crèche, group fitness room and kiosk will be open, while personal training and most exercise classes will continue.

Residents of the Hawkesbury are encouraged to have their say on the 20 year Draft Hawkesbury Community Strategic Plan which is on public exhibition until 20 July. The Community Strategic Plan seeks to determine a shared vision for the Hawkesbury, decide the paths we want to follow, set our direction, our goals and the tangible ways that we can achieve those goals.
This plan will be on display at various locations around the Hawkesbury from 23 April to 20 July.
The plan will be on display at:Council Chambers, 366 George Street, Windsor, Hawkesbury Library, Richmond Library.
You can also read a copy of the draft plan on Council's website during the exhibition time or phone 4560 4546 to have one sent out to you.
