Richmond Pool now open
Splash into the swimming season at Richmond Swimming Centre these October school holidays. Your local Richmond Pool will re-open to the public on Saturday, 3 October 2009. Open 8am-6pm Saturdays and 10am-6pm every other day for the rest of the school holidays. Get involved in learn to swim classes now with discounts for additional family members.
Upgraded last season, the Swimming Centre offers a six lane Olympic main pool, crystal clear water, learners’ pool, covered babies’ pool and a modern child play area. It also has a kiosk, picnic area, a half basketball court and a multi purpose club room available for functions and meetings. Entry only $3.70 per adult, concessions available and free admission for all children under four with an accompanying adult.
Let us make your next party easy! For two fun-filled hours, birthday parties (for 5 to 12 years olds) offer dry land and water games, party food, icecream cake and drinks. Only $12 per child (minimum 10 children), adult spectators free.
The Swimming Centre will run new squad afternoon sessions from Monday to Thursday and the Hawkesbury Amateur Swimming Club will have race meetings every Friday night beginning mid October. Half Moon Farm Restoration Project 2009-2012
Quotations are invited for the Half Moon Farm Restoration Project at Leets Vale. Submissions close on 28 October 2009 at 5pm.
A quotation brief must be obtained from Council's Land Management Officer. A compulsory project briefing will be conducted on 15 October 2009 at the project site at 10.30 am.
Quotations may only be submitted as per quotation brief and must be received before the closing date. Late submissions will not be accepted. Please note only qualified practitioners are invited to quote.
Quotations must address all of the Contractor Selection Criteria. Contractors, as part of their quotation, must demonstrate qualifications, relevant experience and submit a Health and Safety system approved by Council's Land Management Officer.
Please note that the canvassing of Councillors in relation to this matter will automatically disqualify the applicant from this process.
