ANZAC Day/Public Holiday Operating Hours
The following operating hours will apply to Council facilities for ANZAC Day and the ANZAC Day public holiday.

* Hawkesbury Central Library – open 2-5pm
* Richmond Library – closed
* Hawkesbury Regional Gallery – open 12 Noon-3pm
* Hawkesbury Regional Museum – open 12 Noon-3pm
* Visitor Information Centre – 12Noon-4pm
* Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility – open 12 Noon - 4.30pm
* Companion Animal Shelter – closed
Monday, 26 April
Council Offices, Hawkesbury Central Library, Richmond Library, Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility and Companion Animal Shelter will be closed.

Library - Recruiting volunteers
Hawkesbury Library Service is currently recruiting volunteers. If you are a people person, are reliable and patient and you have a couple of hours to spare each month you are invited to apply for one or more of the following positions:
- Library Delivery Volunteers - to deliver books to housebound residents
- Library Delivery Volunteers – to deliver books to groups such as Retirement Villages, Nursing Homes and Seniors Clubs
- Book Selectors for deliveries
- Information Services Volunteers
- Oral History Project Volunteers
- Preschool Story time Volunteers
- Program and Event Volunteers
Hawkesbury Library Service Volunteers are fully trained for their role and are expected to make a commitment to be involved fortnightly or monthly for a 12-month term of engagement. Becoming a volunteer with the library service is an opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and be part of the library team, and provide an important and valuable service to the community.

Hawkesbury Bushfire Risk Management Plan
The Hawkesbury Bush Fire Management Committee invites the public to view a draft version of the revised Bushfire Risk Management Plan.
The plan will be available for viewing on Saturday 10th April 2010 from 10am to 12 midday at the following NSWRFS Brigade stations:

Proposed Removal of Street Tree Notice is given of proposed removal of a street tree on 22/4/10, identification number 10/01, a Liquid Amber at 4 Tarragen Avenue, Hobartville 2753 due to damage to infrastructure. Momentum: 18th Fibre Tamworth Biennial

A Tamworth Regional Gallery exhibition toured by Museums and Galleries NSW and supported by Visions of Australia, an Australian Government program supporting touring exhibitions by providing funding assistance for the development and touring of Australian cultural material across Australia.

Tender No. 01210 - SOUTH WINDSOR SEWERAGE TREATMENT PLANT - RECYCLED WATER SCHEME
Tenders are invited for the "SOUTH WINDSOR STP RECYCLED WATER SCHEME”. This tender includes the Survey, Geo-technical Investigation, Design, Construction, Testing, Commissioning and Performance Proofing of the South Windsor STP Recycled Water Plant, Rising Main and On-site reservoirs, Sub-surface Irrigation Systems and Distribution Network.

Tenders are invited for the reconstruction of the Thorley Street flood evacuation route, Bligh Park. Tenders will be received up to 3pm on Thursday 29 April 2010.
