Expressions of Interest
Disability Advisory Committee - Community Representatives
Expressions of Interest are invited from persons who have the experience and / or knowledge of disability issues - with a particular focus on disability access matters - to be appointed to Hawkesbury City Council’s Disability Advisory Committee as a community representative.
The Disability Advisory Committee is to be established by Council to provide a forum for the discussion and resolution of access issues impacting on people with a disability. The Committee will also work with Council staff on the development of a Disability Action Plan for the Hawkesbury.
The Committee’s operations will be governed by a Constitution adopted by Council. Community representatives appointed to the Committee will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with the Hawkesbury City Council Code of Conduct.

We are looking for people to join our award-winning volunteer team. Keen, interested and skilled people are encouraged to apply. An interest in history and/or local tourism and good customer service skills are highly desirable. Volunteers are fully trained and supported by museum staff, and are expected to commit to work two half-day shifts a month for at least 12 months.
