LEASING AGENT – ‘OLD HOSPITAL SITE’
The ‘Old Hospital Site’ is a prominent two-storey heritage building in the heart of Windsor which is currently vacant.
Quotations are invited from appropriately qualified and licensed Real Estate Agents to act on Council’s behalf as the leasing agent for the “Old Hospital Site”.
Quotations will be received until 4pm on Thursday, 25 November 2010 and may only be submitted by the means described within the ‘Request for Offer’ documentation.
Canvassing of Councillors in relation to this matter will automatically disqualify the applicant from the process.

Freedom of Entry to the City Parade - RAAF Friday, 22 October 2010 10:30am - 11:30am, Pitt Town
A special event to celebrate the anniversary of the granting of Freedom of Entry to the City of Hawkesbury to RAAF Base Richmond. The parade will form up with a special ceremony at Pitt Town Public School at 10.30am. It will then proceed around the block bounded by Grenville, Bathurst and Buckingham Streets. The parade will be ‘challenged’ in front of Pitt Town Anglican Community Church on Bathurst Street, where a plaque commemorating the naming of Pitt Town by Governor Lachlan Macquarie will also be unveiled at approx. 11am. The parade will return to Pitt Town Public School on Buckingham Street for ‘review’ by the Mayor and for the official ceremony at 11.30am.
Special Event Temporary Road Closures: A number of temporary traffic changes will occur in Pitt Town from 10.15am for the event. Temporary Road Closures will be as follows:
- Corner of Chatham and Buckingham Streets, Pitt Town
- Corner Grenville and Eldon Streets, Pitt Town
- Corner Bathurst and Eldon Streets, Pitt Town
- Corner Bathurst and Church Streets, Pitt Town
- Corner of Bathurst and Buckingham Streets, Pitt Town
It is hoped that delays during and immediately following the parade will be minimal but please use alternative routes where possible. Please refrain from parking along parade route. The Parade Route Map is available for viewing via the link.

During the public exhibition period (22/10/2010 to 22/11/2010) any person may make a submission in writing to Hawkesbury City Council in relation to the development application. Submissions will be provided to the Sydney West Region Planning Panel and may be viewed by other persons with an interest in the application. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission.
Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any Political Donation or Gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Hawkesbury City Council.
Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.
Pesticides Amendment (Notification) Regulation 2005 Hawkesbury City Council
In accordance with the requirements of the Pesticides Amendment (Notification) Regulation 2005, Hawkesbury City Council has reviewed its Pesticides Notification Plan which was placed on exhibition for 28 days and adopted by Council on 13 July 2010.
The Plan, which covers the Hawkesbury Local Government Area, can be viewed free of charge at Council Offices, 366 George Street, Windsor during business hours or may be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au. Draft Residential Land Strategy
Council has prepared a Draft Residential Land Strategy that proposes a planning framework for residential precincts (urban, semi urban/rural village and rural residential) to provide for a range of housing types and locations to satisfy demographic demands within the Hawkesbury region to at least the year 2031. The Draft Strategy also proposes sustainability criteria for residential development. Council at its meeting of 28 September 2010 resolved to place the Draft Residential Land Strategy on public exhibition.
You are invited to inspect the draft Residential Land Strategy at Council Offices and libraries from 7 October - 4 November 2010. Council offices are open between 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. The document will also be available on Council's website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.
If you wish to make a written submission, please ensure that Council receives your submission by 5 November 2010. Please note that upon request Council may release submissions received in accordance with an Informal Access Request to Council under the Government Information (Public Access Act 2009).
