Being a volunteer at Hawkesbury Regional Museum is an opportunity to share your love of history, make friends, learn new skills, increase your knowledge and be involved with the community. If you are someone who enjoys interacting with people and feel that volunteering on a regular basis would suit you, then you may be interested in joining our team of customer service volunteers. There are also training opportunities for you to expand you skills and Volunteers also have the opportunity to participate in professional development opportunities.

Hawkesbury Household Chemical CleanOut
The next Hawkesbury Household Chemical CleanOut will be held on Sunday, 21 August 2011 at the Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility, The Driftway, South Windsor.
Only household quantities are accepted (20kg or 20L maximum) of paint & paint related products, herbicides, pesticides, poisons, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, pool chemicals, hobby chemicals, acids & alkalis, solvents, household cleaners, motor oils, fuels, fluids, batteries, and fluorescent globes and tubes.
This service is provided by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

Tenders are invited for the ‘Hire of one landfill compactor at the Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility’. This tender includes the provision of one landfill compactor for dry hire for a 3 year period with an optional 2 year extension.
Tender documents are available for free at http://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc or at Council’s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor for a non-refundable fee of $50.
Tenders will be received by Council until 3pm on Thursday, 25 August 2011.
