Draft Generic Plans of Management for Community Lands on Public Exhibition

The Draft Generic Plans of Management outline the permitted uses and activities within the parks and reserves of the Hawkesbury and management actions that Council will endeavour to undertake.

Copies can be viewed at the following locations:

How to have your say

The community is invited to provide comment on the exhibited Plans via written submissions sent to Council by any of the methods listed below by close of business, Tuesday 5 April 2011.

A Public Hearing in relation to these Plans and the categorisation of Parks and Reserves will be held on Tuesday 8 March 2011, 7pm - The Tebbutt Room, Windsor Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.

Please be advised that comments about the Draft Generic Plans of Management may contain information that is personal information, such as information that identifies you, etc, for the purposes of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act.

The purpose of collecting this information is to assist Council in obtaining the views of the community regarding this matter. The information may also be made available to third parties in accordance with the relevant legislation.

The submission of personal information with your comments is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of such comments. The information will ultimately be stored in Council's records system.

Development Application Recently Determined

Notice under Section 101 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979, the following Development Consents were determined by Council.

The development consents are available for public inspection, without charge, at Council Offices. Office hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Development Proposal

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for Demolition - Demolition of existing shed at the above property. The applicant is Peter Zorbas. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 25/02/2011 to 25/03/2011. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council''s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0001/11. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.

Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Hawkesbury City Council.

If you have any concerns about the proposal, it is suggested that you speak with the assessing officer so that all aspects may be fully discussed. Matters such as privacy, overshadowing and impact on adjoining owners are a normal part of our assessment.
