Council is currently in the process of developing an Access and Inclusion Plan. As part of this process we are seeking comment from the community particularly about their experience of living and working in the Hawkesbury.
People with a disability, their carers and families as well as service providers are encouraged to attend.
Community forums will be held at:
- Kurrajong Community Centre, Thursday 30 August 11.30am – 1.30pm
(for people with disabilities and their carers)
- Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre Windsor Thursday 3.30pm – 5.30pm
(for service providers)
- Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre Windsor Saturday 1 September 11.30am – 1.30pm
(for people with disabilities and their carers)

Planning Proposal to rezone Lot 12 DP 1138749, 46 Mulgrave Road, Mulgrave
Council has prepared a planning proposal under the provisions of Section 55 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The objective of the planning proposal is to rezone 46 Mulgrave Road, Mulgrave from RU4 Primary Production Small Lots to RU1 Primary Production under the to be gazetted Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 to permit a broader range of land uses on the site.
The planning proposal and other supporting documentation are on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 10 August 2012 to Friday 24 August 2012 and can be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.
Interested persons are invited to inspect the planning proposal and other supporting documentation. Written submissions should be referenced “LEP89004/10” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to email@example.com. The last day for the receipt of submissions is Friday 24 August 2012.
Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Where relevant a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement is to accompany any submission lodged with Council.

The development consents are available for public inspection, without charge, at Council Offices. Office hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Expressions of Interest
Community Representation on the Lower Portland Ferry Working Party
Council has resolved to establish, in conjunction with The Hills Shire Council, a Working Party to investigate and assess options for the future operation of the Lower Portland Ferry.
Expressions of interest (EOI) are welcomed from community members for this Working Party. EOI must be received by close of business Friday, 17 August 2012.
It should be noted that Council has indicated its support for the ongoing operation of the service, given the key role it serves in the community.
Members of the Working Party will provide advice on both community needs and options, with the Working Party preparing a report for consideration by both Councils. Community representatives will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with the Hawkesbury City Council Code of Conduct.

Waste collection driver
Tender No. 00917 - Tenders for the provision of a septic tank and collection well effluent removal service
Tenders are invited and will be received by Council until 3pm on Friday, 31 August 2012 for the Provision of a Septic Tank and Collection Well Effluent Removal Service within the Hawkesbury Local Government Area.
Tender documents are available for free at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or at Council’s Administration Office at 366 George Street, Windsor from 8.30am Tuesday, 7 August 2012 for a non refundable fee of $100 (inclusive of GST).
Please address all submissions in writing to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, sealed and endorsed "Provision of a Septic Tank and Collection Well Effluent Removal Service 00917”
Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders will be opened in public in the Administration Building, immediately following the time of closure and tenderers or their representatives are invited to attend.
The canvassing of Councillors in relation to this matter will automatically disqualify the applicant from this process.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
