Richmond Swimming Centre 2012/2013 Summer Season

With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and shaded kids playground; Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering / sporting or community group event.

The pool will host Learn to Swim lessons after school in Term 4, 2012 and in Term 1 2013; and January Intensive Sessions during the summer school holidays. Birthday parties, Club nights and squad sessions are also available.

Thermal pool covers will be applied from the beginning of the pool season to keep the water temperature enjoyable.

Proposed Suspension of Alcohol Free Zone and Restricted Alcohol Zone

In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, Council resolved (in part) on 28 August 2012, as follows:

The Alcohol Free Zone within a designated area of the “Windsor Mall” on George Street, Windsor (between the former Westpac Bank Building/Vault 146 Restaurant and the Fitzroy Hotel) and the Restricted Alcohol Zone within “Thompson Square” be suspended for the purpose of holding the Sydney Blues and Roots Festival – Windsor 2012 during the following dates and times:

* Friday, 26 October 2012 – 7:00pm – 1.00am
* Saturday, 27 October 2012 – 7:00pm – 1.00am
* Sunday, 28 October 2012 – 1:00pm – 10:30pm
