Review of Hawkesbury Community Strategic Plan

Following the recent Local Government election there is provision to review the Hawkesbury Community Strategic Plan.

Residents of the Hawkesbury are encouraged to have their say on the 20 year Draft Revised Hawkesbury Community Strategic Plan which is on public exhibition until Friday, 15 March 2013.

The Community Strategic Plan seeks to determine a shared vision for the Hawkesbury, decide the paths we want to follow, set our direction, our goals and the tangible ways that we can achieve those goals.

This plan will be on display at various locations around the Hawkesbury from Thursday, 17 January until Friday, 15 March 2013.

The plan will be on display at:
Council Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor
Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor
Richmond Library, 29 West Market Street, Richmond

You can also read a copy of the draft revised plan on Council's website at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au or phone 4560 4557 to have one sent out to you.

Feedback can be provided by phone, fax, email or mail with details for returning your comments provided on the back cover of the draft plan.

Timber Hull Vessel For Sale

Quotations for the purchase and removal of the former Lower Portland Vehicular Ferry (8m x 15m approx) will be received up to 4pm, Wednesday, 27 March 2013.

The vessel is “Out of Survey” and is being offered for sale in its present condition. The vessel comes complete with engine, gear box and all other components with no guarantee or warranty offered.

The vessel will be available for inspection on 23 and 24 March 2013, between 1-4pm, at 766 River Road, Lower Portland. A Council representative will be on site to assist with enquiries.

The vessel must be removed within 7 days following notification of successful bid.

Quotations should be addressed to the General Manager, and must be received by the closing time and date. Late submissions will not be accepted. Please return to Council by any of the below methods.

Tender No. 00924 - Tender for the Hir of Plant & Trucks

Tenders are invited for the Hire of Plant & Trucks and will be received up to 10.00am on Thursday, 4 April 2013, for the hire of Tipper Trucks, Low Loader Floats, Tilt Trays and the plant items listed below, for a 2 year period commencing 1 July 2013.

Backhoes/Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, Cranes, Elevated Work Platforms, Excavator Crawlers, Graders, Rollers, Profilers, Suction Street Sweepers, Tractor Road Broom, Tractor Slashers, Shoring and Pumps, Portable Traffic Control Signals, Water Jet / Vacuum and CCTV for storm water and sewage pipes, and Water Tankers.
