Holmes Drive Reserve Draft Plan of Management

The Holmes Drive Reserve Draft Plan of Management will be available for public comment from 14 November 2013 to 10 January 2014. Holmes Drive Reserve is located in Lower Portland and the Draft Plan of Management is aligned with Council''s strategic plans including the Hawkesbury Regional Open Space Strategy, and to respond to contemporary park user requirements.

The Draft Plan can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor; Hawkesbury Central Library, Windsor; Richmond Branch Library and via Council''s website at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au under ''Consulting the Community''.

Please address all comments in relation to this matter to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council titled ''Submission – Holmes Drive Reserve Draft Plan of Management''. The Plan of Management is on public exhibition until Thursday, 14 November 2013. A further 14 day period provided for the completion of written submissions due Friday, 10 January 2014.

Notice is given that Governor Phillip Reserve and boat ramp will be closed to the general public on Saturday 23 November 2013 and Sunday 24 November 2013, as exclusive use has been granted to NSW Water Ski Federation for the Bridge to Bridge Water Ski Classic.

Expressions of Interest - Hawkesbury Access and Inclusion Committee Community Representatives
Community Programs Coordinator

Expressions of Interest are invited from persons who have the experience and / or knowledge of disability issues - with a particular focus on disability access matters - to be appointed to Hawkesbury City Council’s Access and Inclusion Committee as a community representative.

The Access and Inclusion Committee has been established by Council to provide a forum for the discussion and resolution of access issues impacting on people with a disability. The Committee will also work with Council staff on the development of an Access and Inclusion Plan for the Hawkesbury.

The Committee’s operations will be governed by a Constitution adopted by Council. Community representatives appointed to the Committee will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with the Hawkesbury City Council Code of Conduct.
