Draft Access and Inclusion Plan on Public Exhibition
Hawkesbury City Council is seeking community comment on the draft Access and Inclusion Plan.
The Plan identifies actions to be undertaken by Council to promote access and inclusion and non-discriminatory practices in the provision of services and the operation of facilities for the benefit of residents and visitors to the Hawkesbury. The Plan is also intended to provide guidance to community groups and the business sector on the practical implementation of access and inclusion strategies.
The Draft Access and Inclusion Plan can be viewed at the following locations:

Proposed Amendment to Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 – Draft Part E Chapter 8 Redbank at North Richmond
Council at the Ordinary Meeting of 29 July 2014 resolved to exhibit the draft Part E Chapter 8 Redbank at North Richmond and other associated amendments to the Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 (DCP) for a minimum of 28 days.
The aim of the draft Chapter is to guide the future development of Redbank at North Richmond site. The Chapter provides development controls for heritage conservation and interpretation, open space network, water mangement, environmental management, vehicular, pedestrian and cycling movement network, subdivision, built forms and character.
The draft Chapter and other supporting documentation, including associated minor administrative amendments to other parts of the DCP, is on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 8 August 2014 to Monday 8 September 2014. The draft Chapter and other supporting documentation can also be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.
Interested persons are invited to inspect the draft Chapter and other supporting documentation. Written submissions may be made to Council during the exhibition period with the final day of submissions being Monday, 8 September 2014. Submissions should be referenced “DCP2002/14” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that confidentiality is not available to respondents. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council’s Access to Information policy.
Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Where relevant a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement is to accompany any submission lodged with Council. This statement is available from Council.

Governor Phillip Reserve and Boat Ramp - Temporary Closure
Notice is given that Governor Phillip Reserve and boat ramp will be closed to the general public on Saturday, 30 and Sunday, 31 August 2014, as exclusive use has been granted to Ski Racing NSW Inc. for the 2014 Hawkesbury 120 Ski Race Classic.
