Young Citizen of the Season Awards
Council is looking for Hawkesbury’s most extraordinary under 25 year olds, who are doing great things in our community, to be nominated for the Young Citizen of the Season Awards.
Council encourages Hawkesbury residents to nominate young citizens who make outstanding contributions to our community, so that they may be recognised for their tireless efforts.
Nominations can be made for citizens who are residents of the Hawkesbury and also those who live outside of the Hawkesbury area but have made a significant contribution to the Hawkesbury community over an extended period of time from which the local community has directly benefited.
All recipients of the Young Citizen of the Season award go in the running for the Young Citizen of the Year award, which will be announced on Australia Day of the following year.
Nominating someone for Young Citizen of the Season is easy. Just complete a Young Citizen of the Season nomination form, which is available from Council, Richmond Club, Hawkesbury Central Library, Richmond Branch Library and on Council's website under Awards www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au or call Council’s PR Coordinator on (02) 4560 4430.
