00952 - Tender for Air Coniditioning Maintenance

Tenders are invited for the maintenance of air conditioning units at various Council sites and will be received up to 12 noon on Tuesday, 4 November 2014.

Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 7 October 2014 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free on WSROC e-tendering website.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a compulsory site inspection on Friday, 17 October 2014. Tenderers are required to meet at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor at 8:30am for an information session by Council Staff followed by a visit to selected sites.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

Development Proposal

Lot 1 DP 516470 No. 63 & Lot 9 DP 235303 No. 73 Railway Road North MULGRAVE

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for General Industry - Alterations and additions to an existing concrete works involving demolition and removal of existing concrete plant, removal of existing gantry crane, demolition of existing amenities building and workshop, demolition of existing hollow core production facility, construction of new concrete plant, new wet cast facility building, new amenities buildings, acoustic wall, car parking area and new access driveways at the above property. The applicant is Hanson Precast Pty Ltd. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The development requires approval from the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) as a scheduled activity under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1977.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 16/10/2014 to 17/11/2014. All plans and details may be inspected between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, at Council''s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0586/14. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.

Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Hawkesbury City Council.
