Richmond Swimming Centre 2014-2015 Summer Season

Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2014 – 2015 Summer Season on Saturday, 20 September 2014.

With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and shaded kids playground Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering, sporting or community group event.

The pool will host Learn to Swim lessons after school in Term 4, 2014 and in Term 1 2015; and School Holiday Intensive Sessions during the summer school holidays. Birthday parties, club nights and squad sessions are also available.

Thermal pool covers will be applied from the beginning of the pool season to keep the water temperature enjoyable.

Proposed Adoption of ‘Policy regarding Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors’

Under the Local Government Act, 1993 Council is required to review and adopt its Policy for the
Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors each year. Section 253 of the Act also requires that public notice of the proposed adoption of the Policy be given.

The proposed Policy is now on public exhibition and may be viewed at Council’s offices during normal business hours until Thursday, 30 October 2014. Copies may also be obtained from Council’s website or by contacting the Manager Corporate Services and Governance on (02) 4560 4426 or council@hawkesbury. nsw.gov.au

Submissions on the proposed Policy are invited and will be received by Council until 5.00pm on Thursday, 30 October 2014. Submissions should be addressed to the General Manager and can be mailed to PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or emailed to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au

Any comments about this proposal may contain information that is personal, such as information that identifies you, etc., for the purposes of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act, 1998.

The purpose of collecting this information is to assist Council in obtaining the views of the residents. The information may also be made available to third parties in accordance with the relevant legislation.

The submission of personal information with your comments is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of such comments. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.


00951 - Mowing and Trimming of Active Recreation Areas, Sports Fields and Ovals

Tenders are invited for the mowing and trimming of active recreation areas, sports fields and ovals and will be received up to 3.00pm on 23 October 2014.

This tender is for the mowing and trimming of active recreation sports fields and ovals that come under the care and control of Hawkesbury Sports Council Inc. as delegated as a Section 377 Committee by Hawkesbury City Council. The contract will be between the successful tenderer and Hawkesbury Sports Council.

Tender documents are available for free at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or at Council’s
Administration Office at 366 George Street, Windsor from 23 September 2014 for a non refundable fee of $100 (inclusive of GST).

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a compulsory briefing to be held on 7 October 2014. The briefing will be held at 10.00am at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Deerubbin Centre, Windsor.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.
