Richmond Swimming Centre 2015 / 2016 Summer Season
Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2015 / 2016 Summer Season on Saturday, 19 September 2015.
With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and children's playground, Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering, sporting or community group event.
Learn to swim lessons and squad training will operate after school and on Saturday mornings in Term 4, 2015 and in Term 1, 2016. School holiday intensive sessions will run for all levels during the summer school holidays in the lead up to school swimming carnivals. Club nights are hosted on Friday nights.
The Pools opening hours have been extended by an hour during the months of October, November and March to allow for more lap swimming during daylight savings.

Business Waste Programs Officer - CP050SP
Temporary position – 2 days pw for 12 months
Council is seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to assist in the development and implementation of a Business Waste Program and to conduct community audits to identify the key issues in the types of waste and recycling services needed in the Hawkesbury.
The successful person must have a tertiary qualification in Natural Resource or Environmental Management and previous experience in the waste industry. Experience in the development and delivery of waste education programs is also essential.
Applicants must have own reliable transport for work related travel, expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Award provisions.
Salary: $553.40 gross per week for 14 hours plus 9.5% superannuation.

Senior Subdivision & Development Engineer - CP043SU
PERMANENT FULL-TIME P0SITION (35 HOURS PER WEEK)
Salary negotiable from $87,500 pa depending upon qualifications and experience plus a Civil Liability Allowance of 3.5% and 9.5% Superannuation plus a Leaseback Vehicle
Council is seeking a highly motivated individual with proven experience in subdivision, development and construction to provide engineering support for the Development Services Branch. This role provides a great opportunity to be part of a progressive team delivering a very important function within Council.
Reporting to the Manager of Development Services you will be responsible for providing a high level of professional advice to Councils Development Services Branch, internal and external customers and stakeholders and the community with respect to development engineering.
The successful applicant will assess and oversee a range of development applications, with a strong emphasis on greenfield sites; undertake subdivision related inspections and certify compliance with regulatory functions in respect to subdivision and development construction requirements.
To be successful in this role you must have a Degree in Civil Engineering acceptable for membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia and a current Driver’s Licence. Experience in design and rural residential development with knowledge of relevant planning legislation is essential.
