Refurbishment of the Aeration System at the South Windsor Treatment Plant. - Tender No. T00071

Tenders are invited for Refurbishment of the Aeration System at the South Windsor Treatment Plant and will be received up to 3pm on Thursday, 24 May 2018.

The South Windsor Treatment Plant (SWSTP) is located on Fairey Road, Bligh Park, approximately 4.5km south of Windsor. The plant serves South Windsor, Bligh Park, Windsor Downs, Clarendon and the John Morony Correctional centre.

The upgraded plant (Stage 1 to Stage 2) which took place in 1992 is an extended aeration activated sludge plant designed for biological nutrient removal.

Aeration for the Stage 2 plant is provided by tubular membrane fine bubble diffusers (SOCs) which are currently failing due to ruptured membranes and the membrane diffusers separating from the headers.

This RFT is to replace the tubular membrane fine bubble diffusers (SOCs) with disc diffusers.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a Compulsory Site inspection to be held on Tuesday, 8 May 2018 at 11am at the South Windsor treatment Plant.
