Local Heritage Assistance Fund 2018 – 2019

Minor Improvements/Conservation Works to Local Heritage Listed Properties within Village and Neighbourhood Centres within the Hawkesbury Local Government Area

Hawkesbury City Council and the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage are jointly funding the Local Heritage Assistance Fund 2018 – 2019 which is targeted at minor improvements/conservation works to heritage listed properties within Village and Neighbourhood Centres in the Hawkesbury Local Government Area.

Council is now inviting applications from owners or managers of local heritage listed properties within Village and Neighbourhood Centres in the Hawkesbury Local Government Area for the Local Heritage Assistance Fund. The Fund provides dollar for dollar grant funding of up to $2,000 for minor conservation works to heritage listed properties in these centres.

Applications are now open and the final date for applications is Friday, 10 August 2018. Application guidelines and forms can be downloaded from Council's website at http://www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au

An information session will be held on Wednesday, 18 July 2018 at Hawkesbury City Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor, in the Large Committee Room First Floor (up the ramp) between 6:30pm – 8:00pm. The session will include presentations by Council’s Heritage Advisor and Council Officers.

Notice under Section 4.59 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979, the following Development Consents, Complying Development Certificates, Section 96 Modifications and Section 82A Reviews were determined by Council.

The Development Consents, Complying Development Certificates, Section 96 Modifications and Section 82A Reviews are available for public inspections, without charge, at Council’s offices. Office hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Development Proposal

8 Groves Avenue MULGRAVE NSW 2756 (Lot 1 DP 1038365)

Hawkesbury City Council has received a Section 4.55(8) Application for modifications to Development Consent No. DA0703/13 for the construction of a multi-storey building consisting of an entertainment facility, recreational facilities (indoor), pub, shop, bulky goods premises, restaurants/cafes and car park at 8 Groves Avenue, Mulgrave. The Land and Environment (L&E) Court is the determining authority for this Section 4.55(8) Application as they issued the original consent.

The application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period of 5 July 2018 to 19 July 2018. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday at Council's Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the application, quoting reference ‘S960054/18’. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for the objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment, you may be contacted regarding any meetings or hearings of the L&E Court and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in L&E Court documentation or forwarded to the Applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council’s Policy for Access to Information.

Under Section 10.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Hawkesbury City Council.

If you have any concerns about the application, it is suggested that you speak with the assessing officer so that all aspects of the development may be fully discussed.
