SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR POWER

Tenders are invited for the supply, installation and maintenance of solar power at Hawkesbury City Council and other councils and will be received up to 3pm on Wednesday, 7 November 2018.

Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced solar panel installers, organisations or individuals to supply, install and commission grid-connected solar power systems at 13 identified sites by 31 May 2019, followed by maintenance of the systems for up to a five year period, taking the contract to 31 May 2024, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Request for Tender. The successful respondents will be placed onto a ranked panel of contractors. This contract may be utilised for future solar installations and maintenance beyond the 13 identified sites by Hawkesbury City Council as well as by other councils.

Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 16 October 2018 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a compulsory site inspection to be held on Friday, 26 October 2018 at 8:30am at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor.

Fibre Optic Installation Sewer Pump Stations “O” & “F” for Data Communication and Telemetry to Council’s SCADA Network

Tenders are invited to undertake design, supply, installation and commissioning of equipment and materials to connect Fibre Optic cable from Sewer Pump Stations (SPS) “O” & “F” for data communication and telemetry into the Council’s SCADA network and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 13 November 2018.

Exhibition of Planning Proposal (LEP013/16) - Rezone from R2 Low Density Residential to B1 Neighbourhood Centre - 383-395 George Street and 2A-8 Hawkesbury Valley Way, Windsor

Council is exhibiting a planning proposal affecting Lots 7-12 DP 1093, 383-395 George Street, Lot A DP 108510, 2A Hawkesbury Valley Way and Lots 11-13 DP 1662, 4-8 Hawkesbury Valley Way, Windsor (the subject site).

The objective of the planning proposal is to rezone the subject site from R2 Low Density Residential to B1 Neighbourhood Centre under the provisions of Hawkesbury Local Environmental 2012 (the LEP) to allow development of the subject site for business/commercial purposes.

The planning proposal aims to achieve this intended outcome by amending the Land Zoning Map of Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 to change the current R2 Low Density Residential zoning of the subject site to B1 Neighbourhood Centre.

The planning proposal and other supporting documentation is on public exhibition for the period Friday 19 October 2018 to Monday 19 November 2018.

Submissions are balanced with Council’s statutory obligations, the rights of the proponent and the public interest. Council must consider any submissions made before it decides whether to proceed with or abandon a proposal.

The Minister for Planning has delegated the making of the Local Environmental Plan to Council.
