The Development Consents, Complying Development Certificates, Section 96 Modifications and Section 82A Reviews are available for public inspections, without charge, at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor. Office hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for - Modification of Land and Environment Court Approval (Case No.2017/327958) - Design Amendments and Increase Capacity of Centre Based Childcare Centre from 79 Spaces to 113 Spaces at the above property. The applicant is Isaac Property Developments Pty Ltd. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is also identified as Integrated Development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because approvals under the Water Management Act 2000 and Rural Fires Act 1997 are required. The approval bodies are the NSW Department of Industry - Natural Resource Access Regulator and NSW Rural Fire Service, respectively.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 14/02/2019 to 28/02/2019. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference S960002/19. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.

Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Hawkesbury City Council.

Compliance and Enforcement Policy-KR 0554

A revised draft Compliance and Enforcement Policy has been developed by Council in line with the Ombudsman’s Model Compliance and Enforcement Policy (2015). The purpose of the Policy is to guide Council officers, responsible for unlawful activity with respect to compliance and enforcement and proactive compliance monitoring and enforcement. It provides the framework to ensure the service is accountable and transparent, consistent, proportional and timely, and assists the community in understanding Council's role in relation to compliance and enforcement activities. Consequently, at its meeting on 11 December 2018, Council resolved to place the revised Compliance and Enforcement Policy on public exhibition for a period of two months and seek submissions from interested parties.

In accordance with that decision, Council’s Draft Compliance and Enforcement Policy is placed on public exhibition until Wednesday, 13 March 2019 and may be viewed on Council’s website or at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor. Swimming Pool Inspection Program Policy - JR 0554

Council is committed to ensure the safety of children under the age of five years around private swimming pools. The NSW Swimming Pools Act 1992 and Swimming Pools Regulation 2018 identify a number of requirements designed to enhance safety. Council, under the legislation, and with the regulatory responsibility, has reviewed its Swimming Pool Inspection Policy and Program for swimming pools.
