MOWING AND MAINTENANCE OF PARKS AND RESERVES

Tenders are invited for Mowing and Maintenance of Parks and Reserves and will be received up to 3pm on Wednesday, 9 October 2019.

This tender is a schedule of rates contract for the mowing and maintenance of parks and reserves under Hawkesbury City Councils care and control in outlying areas of the local government area.

The work included under this Contract comprises the supply of all materials, plant and labour necessary for the complete execution of all works required at each specified location.

Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 17 September 2019 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a compulsory briefing session on Thursday, 26 September 2019 from 2pm – 4 pm in the Tebbutt Room, Windsor Library, 300 George Street, Deerubbin Centre, Windsor.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

Richmond Swimming Centre 2019-2020 Summer Season

Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2019-2020 Summer Season in time for the October School holidays on Saturday, 28 September 2019.

With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and a children’s playground, Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering / sporting or community group event.

Learn to Swim lessons and Squad training will operate after school and on Saturday mornings in Term 4, 2018 and in Term 1, 2019. School Holiday Intensive Sessions will run for all levels during the Summer school holidays in the lead up to School Swimming Carnivals. Club nights are hosted on Friday nights.

The Swimming Pool will again be open until 7pm on weekdays throughout the school term to allow for longer lap swimming times.

Colbee Park Plan of Management and Masterplan

Hawkesbury City Council is preparing a Plan of Management and Masterplan for Colbee Park in McGraths Hill. These plans will guide how the park will be used and developed in the future.

Community consultation is a vital part of the planning process and your contribution is welcomed.

Have your say about how you use Colbee Park, how you would like to use it in future, and any changes you’d like to see to the park.

Fernadell Park Plan of Management and Masterplan

Hawkesbury City Council is preparing a Plan of Management and Masterplan for Fernadell Park in Pitt Town, which is bounded by Bootles Lane, Stables Street, Fernadell Drive, Buckingham Street, and private land to the east.

Fernadell Park is a developer contribution made to Hawkesbury City Council for a district level recreation facility for the Pitt Town community. The park is not yet developed, but it is expected that it will be used for sporting, recreation and community activities.

Council is asking the community how it wants to use Fernadell Park in the future.

Drop in to Fernadell Park on Saturday, 14 September, 10am – 12 noon to talk with Council staff and the project consultants.
