Reel Talk Tuesday – Celebrating Jane Austen’s 250th birthday

Step back in time and into the wit and charm of Jane Austen as Hawkesbury Library Service celebrates the author’s 250th birthday at this month’s Reel Talk Tuesday.

On Tuesday 16 September, from 10am to 12:30pm, you can enjoy a FREE screening of a 2020 adaptation of one of Austen’s most recreated and beloved works. Any guesses on what film it could be?

This is the perfect opportunity for book and film lovers to connect, share perspectives, and appreciate the timeless appeal of Austen’s sharp observations on society, love, and human nature. Find the film title on Eventbrite .

Reel Talk Tuesday is a seasonal event series held at Hawkesbury Central Library where movie lovers can enjoy a free film screening in a relaxed, comfortable environment. At the end of the screening, attendees are welcome to hang around for tea, coffee and a lively discussion with others.
