Pure Greenway

In celebration of the 200th  anniversary of St Matthews Anglican Church, the oldest Anglican Church in Australia - by foundation stone, the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery invited Fine Arts students from  TAFE NSW, Nepean Arts and Design Centre to work en plain air in the grounds of this magnificent church designed by celebrated architect Francis Greenway.  The resulting paintings and works on paper were shown alongside early 20th century studies by Alfred T. Clint from the Clint Collection ( Friends of Hawkesbury Art Community and Regional Gallery inc.)
