Acknowledgement of Country
The City of Hawkesbury is predominantly situated on Dharug Country and includes Darkinjung Country in the Colo Heights and St Albans areas. Hawkesbury City Council recognises and acknowledges the Dharug and Darkinjung Peoples as the Traditional Custodians across this land. Hawkesbury City Council pays respect to all Dharug and Darkinjung Elders past and present and acknowledges their continuing contribution to the life of this City and the region.
