The model boats displayed in the Hawkesbury Riverboats exhibition are exact replicas of many of the boats which were employed to service the Hawkesbury River community.

Discovered from the Hawkesbury river and within Thompson Square and its surrounds during archaeological excavations between 2016-2020, are Aboriginal tools for hunting and fishing, to maritime objects, as well as every day, discarded items of colonial life.

11 Stories from the River Dyarubbin is a series of 11 audio walks along Dyarubbin / Hawkesbury River, between Yarramundi and Sackville, sharing the river's stories at the places they happened. In each audio walk, Dharug narrators guide the listener through stories told by over 80 contributors, underscored by original music.
