Opening on Friday 10 December at 6pm, is the exhibition ‘We’re all going on a summer holiday!’

This exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Gallery and Nepean TAFE Visual Arts and will be the first exhibition opening night event since the Covid lockdown of 2021.

Eleven TAFE artists in their final year of diploma or who have developed their own art practice since graduation were asked to respond to the notion of a summer holiday – a particularly poignant question after the past couple of years. We all need a collective summer holiday!

The exhibition springs to mind memories when you reminisce about your holidays; Long car journeys, bunk beds, the McDonalds pit stop, staying up late, the BIG Bananas and Pineapples,  salty hair and skin and sunburns.
Most of us will have a least one of these things cemented in our Australian holiday memories.
