Join in an exciting, hands-on workshop where you become a ‘mini archaeologist’ and dig deeper into the rich history of the Hawkesbury region! In this workshop participants will explore the scientific ways that archaeologists worked to uncover artifacts on display in the Museum’s current exhibition.

PAINT A PET - PORTRAITS OF ANIMALS

Wednesday 17 April, 10.30AM-12.30PM

In this workshop you will draw inspiration from the Archibald Prize exhibition in the gallery to make a pet portrait inspired by your favourite animal. We will use collage and acrylic painting techniques to create onto a canvas and take it home! Young creatives can bring a photo of their pet, choose another animal image, or let their imaginations run wild!
