Our annual membership drive is back in July 2026!

There are so many wonderful reasons to join your local library, but here's one more just for you - all new Hawkesbury Library members who join during 1 - 31 July will go into the draw to win 1 of 6 x $100 gift cards. PLUS there will be daily prizes for new and existing members who borrow (please check Terms & Conditions below).

2026 Membership Drive Promotion Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion Period

The promotion runs from 1 July to 31 July 2026, during standard Library opening hours.

2. Gift Card Prize Pool

• A total of six (6) gift cards, each valued at $100, are available to be won.
• All new members who join during the promotional period will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
• Winners will be selected at random after the promotion period concludes and notified using the contact details provided at registration.
• Council employees and their families are not eligible to win gift cards.

3. Daily Prize Drop

The “Prize Drop” is a promotional activity where participants receive a prize based on the colour the dropped disc lands on.

• Eligibility to participate:
  • New members who join during the promotional period; and
  • Existing members who borrow items during the promotional period. Proof of borrowing needs to be shown.
• Prize Drop rules:
  • One (1) Prize Drop per day.
  • One (1) prize available per drop.
  • Prizes are awarded based on the colour segment where the disc lands.
  • All results are final.
  • Prizes are available while stocks last.
  • No rainchecks will be offered.

4. Additional Offers

Replacement Library Cards

• Existing members with lapsed memberships or lost cards may receive a replacement Library card free of charge during the promotion period.

5. General Conditions

• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless otherwise stated.
• The Library reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
• Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
