Get Spooky with Arts & Culture this Halloween
Witches, wizards, and little monsters – get ready for a frightfully fun time with Hawkesbury Arts & Culture this October to celebrate all things Halloween.
Families are invited to join Hawkesbury Library Service for a spine-tingling evening of Halloween fun on Friday 24 October for a FREE film screening of Room on the Broom. This beloved animated short film follows a kind witch who invites a surprising collection of animals to join her on her broom. The screening will be accompanied by a cauldron-full of spooky themed activities, crafts and treats guaranteed to delight young trick-or-treaters.
The spooky fun continues at Hawkesbury Regional Museum, where children aged 4-10 and their parents can enjoy a fun and not-too-scary Halloween adventure through the historic Howe House. This Windsor landmark will be transformed into a haunted house full of surprises. Little monsters will walk through candlelit rooms, learn about life in the 1800s, and collect tasty Halloween treats along the way.
Bookings are essential for these family-friendly events. Children (and their grown-ups too!) are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes and get into the spirit of the season. Whether you’re a ghoul, goblin, superhero or sorcerer, there’s something magical waiting for everyone.
