Coronavirus update (COVID-19)

Hawkesbury Library Service is open with social distancing in place. You can browse the collection, use Wifi and limited PC use is available. Library hours for Windsor Central Library are Monday to Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-1pm and Sunday 2-5pm and Richmond Branch hours are 9.30am-5pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9am-1pm.

Babies, toddlers & children

Due to Covid-19,  Rhyme Time and Pre-school Storytime have been suspended. We hope to resume these services in the coming months but until then please enjoy Storytime Online

The Library offers a variety of free activities for 0-5 year olds three days a week across both libraries.

All our regular children's activities listed below are free.

Rhyme Time

A 45 minute session of songs and rhymes with a craft to finish. It aims to develop early literacy skills through rhyme, rhythm and repetition.

Every Monday 10-10.45am at Central Library, Windsor (except during school holidays)

For 18 months to 3 year olds. Siblings welcome.
FREE - no need to book

Pre-school Storytime

A 60 minute session of themed stories, puppets, rhymes and craft. It aims to be entertaining while helping to develop listening and interactive skills.

Every Tuesday 11am-12noon at Central Library, Windsor
Every Thursday 11am-12noon at Richmond Branch Library
(except during school holidays)

For 3 - 5 year olds.  Siblings welcome.
FREE - no need to book

Group bookings

Group bookings can be made for visits to the Library.  Pre-schools, mothers groups, day care centres who want to visit the Library for a special Storytime or Rhyme Time.
