Chemical CleanOut Event

Hawkesbury City Council’s Free Chemical CleanOut for 2021 will be held on Saturday, 4 December 2021 from 9am to 3:30pm, at Hawkesbury Showground, Racecourse Road, Clarendon, entry via Gate 1.

This is your chance to make your family home safer by removing old gas bottles, unused chemicals and fuels. You will also be protecting our local environment and waterways by responsibly disposing of your potentially hazardous household chemicals.

Free drop off for all your household chemicals including:

  • Garden and Household Chemicals
  • Poisons
  • Car and Household Batteries
  • Paint
  • Motor oils, fluids, and fuels
  • Fluro Lights
  • Gas Bottles and fire extinguishers
  • Smoke Detectors

Tender No. T00130 - Tender For Deerubbin Park Upgrades – Stage 2 Works

Tenders are invited for the upgrade of Deerubbin Park – Stage 2 Works which will be received up to 2pm on Tuesday, 14 December 2021.

Council is planning to undertake the upgrading of Deerubbin Park – stage 2 works which will include the construction of a new access road into the park, additional car-parking, lighting upgrade, walking tracks and dog off-leash park

Please note there is a Compulsory Site inspection (Pre-Tender meeting) to be held at 10am sharp on Thursday, 2 December 2021 at Deerubbin Park, Cornwallis Road Cornwallis.

Tender No T00122 - Tender For The Construction Of A New Roundabout At The Intersection Of Grose Vale Road And Sunnyside Crescent, North Richmond

Tenders are invited for the construction of a new roundabout including associated works and will be received up to 3pm on Wednesday, 15 December 2021.

Pesticides Notification Plan

In accordance with the requirements of the Pesticide Regulation 2017, Hawkesbury City Council has reviewed its Pesticides Notification Plan which was placed on exhibition for 28 days and adopted by Council on 9 November 2021. The Plan, which covers the Hawkesbury Local Government area, can be viewed free of charge at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor during opening hours 9am to 4pm or may be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au  Enquiries to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756.

Integrated Development Proposal

77 Belmont Grove NORTH RICHMOND NSW 2754

Hawkesbury City Council has received a request to modify Development Consent No. DA0467/15 for a Torrens title subdivision at 77 Belmont Grove (previously known as 96 Grose Vale Road), North Richmond. The modification seeks to undertake alterations to Dam 14 within the Belmont Precinct to ensure it not categorised as a ‘declared dam’. The applicant is Redbank Communities and Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because approvals under both the Water Management Act 2000 and Heritage Act 1977 are required. The relevant approval bodies are the Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) and Heritage Council.

The request to modify development consent application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period of 25 November 2021 to 23 December 2021. All plans and details may be inspected between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference ‘S960049/21’.
