Register of Variations to Development Standards
Clause 4.6 of the Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 provides Council a degree of flexibility in applying certain development standards (rules) to development. This flexibility is allowed in particular circumstances where better outcomes can be achieved.
It is important to note that where flexibility is applied to a development, although a certain development standard may not be met, strict planning objectives set by Council are still being met.
