Hawkesbury Household Chemical CleanOut Event

The Hawkesbury Household Chemical CleanOut Event will be held 9am - 3:30pm, Sunday, 31 July 2022 at the Hawkesbury Showground, Racecourse Road, Clarendon (Entry via Gate 1), in partnership with the NSW Environment Protection Authority and hosted by Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association.

You can safely dispose of household chemicals at the Chemical CleanOut Event including paint, gas bottles, pesticides and herbicides, car and household batteries, pool chemicals and motor oils.

For further information visit Council's website or search online: Chemical CleanOut.Only household quantities of household chemicals and items can be dropped off.

Please note that businesses are not eligible to use these services and should contact a waste disposal service directly or visit businessrecycling.com.au

Proposed Amendments to Redbank Voluntary Planning Agreement

Council at its Ordinary Meeting on 19 July 2022 resolved to place on exhibition proposed amendments to the Redbank Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA).

The proposed amendments to the VPA relate to the construction of the Grose River Bridge and are proposed primarily to ensure that the delivery of the Grose River Bridge progresses as scheduled for practical completion in 2025.

The VPA is on public exhibition from Thursday, 28 July 2022 to Monday, 29 August 2022 and can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor, Monday to Friday during opening hours from 9am to 4pm.

Council will also receive submissions in writing, addressed to the General Manager, by mail to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146 Windsor NSW 2756, or by email to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au up to close of business on Monday, 29 August 2022.

Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in a Council meeting business paper. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary, however, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.

Integrated Development Proposal

Lot 4 DP 734632 and Lot 3 DP 734632, 332 and 324 Commercial Road VINEYARD NSW 2765

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for - Section 82A Review of Determination of DA0332/20 - Subdivision - Demolition of Existing Structures, Earthworks, Construction of Roads, Service Infrastructure and Subdivision to Create 17 Residential Lots One Residue Super Lot and One Public Recreation Lot at the above property. The applicant is Jalshiv Pty Ltd. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Rural Fires Act 1997 is required. The approval body is the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 27/07/2022 to 10/08/2022. All plans and details may be inspected between 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor or online at the DA tracking system on direct link www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-build/current-and-past-applications/da-tracking

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference S82A0002/22. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.
