Richmond Swimming Centre opens to the public

Richmond Swimming Centre is now open.

With large open spaces, an olympic size pool, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and playground, Richmond Swimming Centre a great place to take the family to cool down this Summer.

Learn to Swim lessons and Squad training will again operate after school and on Saturday mornings throughout Term 4, 2022 and Term 1, 2023. January Intensive Sessions will run for all levels during the Summer school holidays in the lead up to School Swimming Carnivals.

Richmond Swimming Centre will again be open until 7pm on weekdays throughout the school term to allow for longer lap swimming times.

Tenders are invited for Wayfinding and Signage – Manufacture & Installation and will be received up to 3pm on Wednesday, 9 November 2022.

Council (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced signage manufacturers, organisations or individuals to provide the manufacture and installation of Council’s Wayfinding and Signage Strategy. Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 18 October 2022 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wscroc

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

Integrated Development Proposal

Lot 1594 DP 1266750, 61 Yobarnie Avenue, North Richmond

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for the construction of a supermarket, four retail premises, car park and signage at 61 Yobarnie Avenue, North Richmond. The proposal is identified as Stages 3 and 4 of the Redbank Neighbourhood Centre.

The applicant is Urbanco Pty Limited and Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as ‘integrated development’ under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Heritage Act 1977 is required. The approval body is the Heritage Council.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 19 October to 18 November 2022.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference ‘DA0311/22’. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational issues. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council’s Policy for Access to Information.
