Proposed Road Closing

Under Section 38B of the Roads Act 1993, notice is given that Hawkesbury City Council will consider the closing of a road in connection with an application proposed by Council.

The road under consideration comprises the Council public road known as Bismark Street, McGraths Hill (shown on the map below). Upon closure Council will retain the closed road as community land.

Council will receive submissions regarding the Proposal. All submissions received will be considered in reaching a decision regarding the proposed road closing.

Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper. Information contained in submission may, at the discretion of Hawkesbury City Council and the NSW Department of Industry - Lands, be referred to the person (s) who initiated the proposal for appropriate consideration. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited for the Provision of Code of Conduct Review Services and will be received up to 3pm Wednesday, 16 November 2022.

Hawkesbury City Council is seeking EOI from suitably experienced service providers to be included on Council’s Panel of Code of Conduct Reviewers, to examine and review complaints made under its Code of Conduct.

EOI documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 25 October 2022 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free at WSROC e-tendering website at tenders.nsw.gov.au/wscroc

EOI may only be submitted by the means described in the EOI documents and must be received by the closing time. Late responses will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the EOI process.
