Public Exhibition – Draft Surveillance Devices Policy

Council is inviting community members to view and comment on Council’s Draft Surveillance Devices Policy, which is on public exhibition at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au up to close of business on Wednesday, 13 March 2024.

Council has created a new Surveillance Devices Policy that will allow Council to use video surveillance in the investigation of activities such as:

  • illegal dumping
  • pollution or contamination
  • unauthorised development
  • community safety enforcement.

A hard copy of the Draft Policy can also be viewed at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm during the exhibition period.

Council will receive submissions via www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au or in writing addressed to the General Manager by mail to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or via email council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au up to close of business on Wednesday, 13 March 2024.

All submissions will be considered and may be included in a Council Meeting Business Paper. Your submission (and any personal information it includes) may be accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary, however, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.

Event Sponsorship – Round 2 submissions

Events in the Hawkesbury help to build:

Council is looking to provide sponsorship assistance with events that:

  • highlight the Hawkesbury’s heritage
  • celebrate our river
  • enhance our town centres
  • assist towns and villages to become local hubs
  • create cultural experiences
  • promote and assist tourism and that builds community and business connections.

Applications close Monday, 18 March 2024.

Two rounds of Event Sponsorship Applications are open to event applicants each year. Event Applications can be submitted any time during the year but assessments are not made until after the closure of relevant Event Sponsorship Round.

Tender for Quantity Surveyor for 6 Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Projects

Tenders are invited for a Quantity Surveyor for 6 WSIG Projects and will be received up to 3pm on 19 March 2024.

Hawkesbury City Council invites your participation in submitting a tender for conducting Quantity Survey works pertaining to the 6 WSIG Projects. HCC has been awarded 6 projects by WSIG.

Below is a list of each project:

  • Separable Portion 1 - Turnbull Park
  • Separable Portion 2 - Kurmond Cycleway
  • Separable Portion 3 - Rickaby's Creek Cycleway
  • Separable Portion 4 - Hawkesbury Oasis Aquatic and Leisure Centre
  • Separable Portion 5 - Richmond Swimming Centre
  • Separable Portion 6 - North Richmond Community Precinct.

Tenderers may tender for any or all Portions.

Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from 27 February 2024 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted. Development Proposal

Lot 201 DP 1268299 ,103 Spinks Road, Glossodia NSW 2756

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for Subdivision to create 64 Torrens title lots and 3 residue lots within Precinct A of Jacaranda. This includes associated earthworks, construction of new roads, upgrades to Spinks Road, stormwater drainage, installation of services and street tree planting at Lots 201 and 202 in DP 1268299, 103 Spinks Road, Glossodia. at the above property. The applicant is Celestino Developments Pty Limited. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition from Wednesday, 6 March 2024 to Wednesday, 20 March 2024. All plans and details may be inspected between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor or online at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-build/current-and-past-applications/da-tracking

The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Integrated Development Proposal

Lot 1 DP 1294304,384 Windsor Street, Richmond NSW 2753

Hawkesbury City Council has received a Nominated Integrated Development Application under the Heritage Act 1977, the site is identified as a state heritage item l134 pursuant to Clause 5.10 of the LEP - Place of Public Worship - Installation of a peal of bells and remedial structural works to the original church building at the above property.  The applicant is Edwards Heritage Consultants.  Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition from 27 March 2024 to 24 April 2024.
