Vote on the new playground design at St Albans Park

11 June 2021

Hawkesbury City Council will build a new playground at St Albans Park using the Commonwealth and NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery funding.

As part of ongoing community consultation in the Macdonald Valley, Council is asking community members to choose which playground design they would like to see built at St Albans Park to replace the existing playground equipment. To see the three options, visit yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au/mvcp and vote at https://bit.ly/2SeeMIE

Voting is open until 5pm on Sunday, 20 June 2021.

Council has been working closely with the community members in St Albans and the Macdonald Valley to plan and build the works identified in the St Albans Park Master Plan. Some of the works already completed at St Albans Park include pathways creating connections, picnic settings, an electric BBQ, steps to the river beach, bollard fencing and restoration of the stone sculptures.

Council has an allocation of $150 000 for the Macdonald Valley community in addition to the funds available for bushfire recovery through the Commonwealth and NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund. For more information, visit yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au/mvcp
