Community Recycling Centre now accepting paint drop-offs

Paint is once again being accepted at Council's Community Recycling Centre.
The Community Recycling Centre accepts:
- Paint
- Smoke detectors
- Gas bottles
- Fire extinguishers
- Car batteries
- Household batteries
- Fluorescent globes and tubes
- TV and computer equipment
- Paper and cardboard
- Clothing via the donation bin
Paint recycling was temporarily suspended earlier this month by NSW EPA following a fire at Cleanaway's processing facility at St Mary’s. The fire affected paint and chemical collection from multiple councils.
