Have your say on Fernadell Park community centre

6 November 2023

Fernadell Park artist impression - looking out over the playground from the alfresco areaAs part of the transformation of Fernadell Park in Pitt Town, Council will be building a new community centre for local families and community groups to enjoy.

The new centre will be located at the corner of Fernadell Drive and Stables Street within Fernadell Park, enabling centre users access to adjoining off street parking and park facilities. Council has set aside a 1000sqm space for the centre and any alfresco and forecourt, landscaping, paving and access areas that may be required or requested by the community.

Council wants to hear from the Pitt Town community regarding what community needs should be met by the new centre. The feedback will be used by Council’s architect to achieve a design for the centre that best meets these needs and flows effectively into the surrounding parkland.
