New playground for Freemans Reach Reserve

Freemans Reach Reserve artist impressionWork is underway on a new playground at Freemans Reach Reserve.

The new playground, replacing the older play equipment, includes a new climbing tower with slide, swings, obstacle course, roundabout, rocker, seating and landscaping.

Weather permitting, work is expected to be completed by mid-November 2024.

Meanwhile, work will commence at Wilberforce Park on a replacement of the play equipment on 8 October 2024, and will be completed by the end of October, weather permitting.

In McGraths Hill, the replacement of the play equipment at Jack Gow Reserve is expected to be completed by the end of January 2025, weather permitting. This includes 12-16 weeks for the factory construction of the play items, and 6-9 weeks for installation.
