Hawkesbury City Council has released its Winter School Holiday Program, with bookings now open for activities at the Library, Museum and Gallery in Windsor!

*COLOURING IN SPACE

Drop into Hawkesbury Central Library, Windsor and choose from a variety of designs to inspire any creative mind.

*DRAMA WORKSHOP: FROM BOOK TO PERFORMANCE
Tuesday 8 July, 10:30 – 11:30AM
Bring your favourite book to life in this immersive workshop! Learn new skills in movement and creative expression.

*LEARN TO JUGGLE
Monday 14 July, 2 – 3PM
Learn the joy of juggling, from the basics of tossing a ball to more advanced tricks.  
$5 – For ages 5 – 12

*POTATO CLOCK SCIENCE WORKSHOP
Friday 18 July, 2 – 3PM
Discover how electrical circuits and batteries work by experimenting with electrical conductors, and create a battery that powers a digital clock, simply using zinc and copper electrodes and a potato.
$5 – For ages 8 – 12

*BRIDGE IT! ENGINEERING CHALLENGE

Discover the history of the Windsor Bridge and those who built it, then work together to construct your own bridge from craft materials.

*DIGGING INTO HISTORY

Enjoy a morning of archaeology inside the historic Howe House! Excavate our dig site, put on your gloves and create your own exhibition.

*FEEL THE FOREST
Wednesday 9 July, 10.30AM-12.30PM
Create textured artworks inspired by the Burnt into Memory exhibition. Lay out your yarn to create the outline of a forest, before adding layers of foil and paint.

*SEED PODS OF HOPE
Wednesday 16 July, 10:30AM – 12:30PM
Using native seed pods, create a sculpture inspired by the Australian bush. Explore the special properties of Australian seeds and take home your own germinating seeds to plant.
