Governor Phillip Park - Playground - Hawkesbury City Council | We’re excited to share that softfall touch-up works at the Governor Phillip Park playground will now begin earlier than scheduled! From 17 June to 21 June, fresh softfall will be poured to enhance safety and comfort for all visitors. To complete these upgrades, the playground will be temporarily closed during this period. This popular playground has seen significant wear from frequent use and recent flooding events. These improvements will help revitalise the space, making it even better for local families to enjoy for years to come. Thank you for your patience while we carry out these essential works! |
Pitt Town Bypass - Transport for NSW | Transport for NSW is building the Pitt Town Bypass to help reduce traffic, including heavy vehicles, through the town centre. This will make travel quicker and safer for all road users. To minimise traffic disruptions and improve safety for both motorists and workers, some work will be carried out at night during the early stages of the project. This work will take place over one night, either Monday 30 June or Tuesday 1 July 2025, weather permitting. Work hours will be from 7pm to 5am..
