Rhymetime and Storytime fun @ your Library
13 April 2021
As COVID restrictions continue to ease in NSW, Hawkesbury Library Service is excited to announce the return of our popular Rhymetime sessions designed for children 18 months to three years. These sessions are filled with fun rhymes, songs and craft activities and will be held every Monday morning at 10am from Monday, 19 April, during school term at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. It is a great way to start the week with your little ones.
Preschool Storytime will also return with two times available each week, Tuesday at 11am at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor and Thursday at 11am at Richmond Branch Library, 29 West Market Street, Richmond. This free activity is perfect for children aged three to five years with themed stories and fun craft activities.
The aim of these sessions is for children to be entertained while helping to develop their listening and interactive skills.
If you are unable to make it to the Library, try some of our online resources. Story Box Library www.storyboxlibrary.com.au is a must see for anyone who loves children’s literature. Have your Hawkesbury Library membership handy to access hundreds of favourite stories read by Australian celebrities. There’s something for everyone to enjoy including craft and activities related to most of the stories.
Hawkesbury Library Service has a COVID-Safe plan in place. Participant numbers are limited, and social distancing requirements will be observed. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will also be available. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend.
