Council Meetings open to the public and livestreamed

Hawkesbury City Council’s first meeting for 2022 is Tuesday, 11 January. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be elected at this meeting and the annual Smoking Ceremony will also be held prior to the Council meeting. Council’s Ordinary Council Meetings are held fortnightly. The 2021 NSW Local Government Election results have been officially declared for Hawkesbury City Council.

The following Councillors have been elected for the next term of Council.

Council meetings are now taking place with Councillors participating in the Council Chambers at 366 George Street, Windsor. Meetings are being livestreamed on Council’s YouTube channel (just search Hawkesbury City Council on YouTube). While members of the public (who do not have COVID-19 symptoms or flu/cold symptoms) are now able to attend Council meetings in person, members of the public are encouraged to watch the Live Stream of Council Meetings. You can also subscribe to Council’s YouTube channel.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, restrictions may apply to the number of persons who can be present in the Council Chambers, based on NSW Public Health orders and physical distancing requirements.

Persons wishing to address Council meetings must register as set out below. Speakers are limited to three persons per item and each speaker will be allocated up to five (5) minutes to address Council.

To address a meeting on an item in the business paper you must register to speak prior to 3pm on the day of the meeting by contacting Council. You will need to apply via the online form at hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/_resources/forms/address-council-meeting or complete a hard copy of the Application Form and lodge it with the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, or by delivery in person to Council's Administration Building at 366 George Street, WINDSOR NSW 2756 prior to 3pm on the day of the meeting.
