Have Your Say on Macquarie Park Plan of Management

Hawkesbury City Council is preparing a Plan of Management for Macquarie Park, Freemans Reach. The plan will guide future use, management and long-term recreational opportunities to be provided at the park.

Community consultation is a vital part of the planning process and your contribution is welcomed. You can provide feedback via the Have Your say tab on Council’s webpage www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au or the direct link www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au

Submissions may be made in writing, please quote Reference: Draft Plan of Management for Macquarie Park, Freemans Reach, addressed to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council by mail PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or by email to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au by Sunday, 7 February 2021.

Development of the Plan of Management does not represent a formal commitment to funding. The plan will be a guiding document; its main purpose is to consider and allow for appropriate usage and to prioritise potential capital works projects to further the recreational opportunities of the site whilst ensuring all values are protected.
