Draft Pesticide Use Notification Plan on public exhibition

In accordance with the requirements of the Pesticides Amendment (Notification) Regulation 2005, Hawkesbury City Council is required to review its Pesticide Notification Plan every three years. The Pesticides Notification Plan has now been reviewed and this Draft Plan is on public exhibition until Friday, 19 March 2021 for view and comment.

The plan sets out how Hawkesbury City Council will notify community members of pesticide applications in public places that Council owns or controls. Pesticides include chemicals such as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, termiticides and rodenticides.

The Plan, which covers the Hawkesbury Local Government area, can also be viewed free of charge at Council Offices, 366 George Street, Windsor from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
