
Hawkesbury City Council appoints new General Manager

The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Patrick Conolly announced today that Council, at its Extraordinary Meeting held on Monday, 19 April 2021, has resolved to appoint Ms Elizabeth Richardson as its new General Manager.
Ms Richardson has more than 20 years’ experience working in Local Government and has been responsible for leading teams in planning, regulatory services, information technology, assets and environment. Her last role was as the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Development and Recreation at Inner West Council which she has held since 2019.
Mayor Patrick Conolly said he was looking forward to working with Ms Richardson.
“I would like to congratulate Elizabeth on her appointment. It will be an interesting and challenging time to join our Council,” Councillor Conolly said.
“There are opportunities to continue to work together with our staff, businesses, visitors and community to build a strong and sustainable Council.
“Elizabeth’s experience in senior management roles in Local Government will ensure she is well placed to lead Council operations.”
Ms Richardson will officially start her new role as General Manager on Tuesday, 1 June 2021.
