New local road improvements in Pitt Town

25 May 2021

Following consultation with the Pitt Town community to prioritise local road improvements, Council will commence new road works in June over an approximately five month construction period, weather permitting. Council will use $3.5 million from Section 7.11 developer contributions (previously known as Section 94) to complete the upgrades.

The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Patrick Conolly recently visited Bathurst Street, Pitt Town where the roadworks will start.

“Pitt Town is one of the fastest growing areas in the Hawkesbury and this is exciting news for our local residents.

“We asked our Pitt Town residents to prioritise road projects so that we would be spending the money on upgrades that are important to them and now these works are about to start, which will greatly enhance our local infrastructure.”
